मुंबईतील मराठा आरक्षण आंदोलनादरम्यान लातूरच्या अहमदपूर तालुक्यातील टाकळगाव येथील कार्यकर्ते विजय घोगरे यांचा हृदयविकाराच्या झटक्याने मृत्यू झाला. त्यांना तातडीने जे.जे. रुग्णालयात हलवले गेले, मात्र डॉक्टरांनी मृत घोषित केले. यापूर्वी दोन दिवसांपूर्वीच जुन्नर येथे आणखी एका मराठा कार्यकर्त्याचा हृदयविकाराने मृत्यू झाला होता.
